Providing Data for Project Success
The Project Success data is sourced from multiple files provided by participating schools. Comma separated value .csv files, saved in UTF-8 encoding are listed below. Additionally, the image below illustrates how the data within the files interacts. Use the navigation menu on the left to explore detailed information regarding each data file.
File Name | Data Included |
---|---|
awarded_degrees.csv | All students who graduated or received a degree/associate/certificate |
students.csv | Demographics information and other characteristics for each new student of the institution in a requested academic period |
terms.csv | All enrolled students attending the institution in a requested academic period |
university_layout.csv | The university structure, including the programs offered |
Historical Data
Each school should provide at least 5 years of historical data. This will help measure the impact that Project Success has on student progress.
New File Submissions
Each school should submit the data for only the most recently completed semester. For example, if a school is submitting files on 9/1/2020, the university_layout, students, terms, and awarded_degrees files with Summer 2020 data must be submitted. This will help validate and verify data and ensure accurate analytics run against schools’ data without duplicating data.
Below is a list of the upcoming submission dates with the data required for each submission. Please use the naming convention listed for the files:
